Founded in Kazakhstan.
Going global from Dubai.

Hero's Journey opened in 2021 in Kazakhstan on a simple idea: treat every member like a professional athlete, measure what they actually do, and let those numbers shape the next session. It was the first fitness brand in its region to run training as a fully tracked system rather than a room full of equipment.

Five years on, more than 10,000 athletes train with us across 6+ studios in Kazakhstan.

Dubai is our first location outside Kazakhstan. Bishkek follows in Q1 2027, alongside two more studios in Astana, then New York in Q3 2027 and Tashkent in Q4 2027.

We're bringing our fitness studio to Al Quoz. Strength training, HIIT classes including Bootcamp and Metcon, and Reform sessions on Pilates-based reformers all come together in one membership, with a coach leading every class and a ready-to-follow program.

Your journey with us starts with a goal — building muscle, losing body fat, developing stronger legs and glutes, or improving endurance. That goal shapes your program, so you know which classes to book and how they fit together across your week.

Each type of training has a role. Strength sessions help you build muscle and increase what you can lift, HIIT develops cardiovascular fitness and endurance, and Reform adds controlled resistance work on reformers focused on deep stabilizers, core strength and posture.

What makes the experience different is how we use technology to guide your training. Over the last five years, our athletes have completed more than 1.6 million workouts at Hero's Journey — and by athletes, we mean everyone who trains with us. The first workout counts. Every hero starts somewhere. We tracked the weights they lifted, the reps they completed and their heart rate during training, then used those records to refine our programs and guide their next workouts.

When you train with us, we provide a heart rate monitor that measures your heart rate every second and displays it on the studio screen in real time. Your coach uses those readings alongside your technique to give you more individual guidance, knowing when to encourage you to push and when to help you ease off.

You can see the same attention to detail on the strength floor. If you've ever started a workout wondering which exercises to do, how much weight to lift or how many reps to aim for, you'll recognize the problem: building an effective routine is usually left to you, unless you pay extra for a personal trainer.

At Hero's Journey you train on dedicated strength machines, with the music, energy and coaching you love in your favorite group classes. A coach helps you with technique and guides everyone through a planned sequence of exercises. Your station is booked, and screens guide your sets and rest periods, so you can focus on training instead of waiting for equipment or watching the clock. The tablet at each station already knows your training history — it shows your exercises for the day, the weight you lifted last time, the reps you completed and what to load today.

Our Assessment Center helps us look beyond individual workouts to see how athletes' body composition and performance change over time. Nearly 7,500 athletes had repeat body composition tests, with a majority of that group gaining muscle and losing body fat between their first and follow-up tests. In the strength records, the typical improvement was around 25% on the chest press and leg press.

Progress also depends on coming back consistently, week after week. Buying a membership is only the start — we want you to use it. From the moment your first class begins, the journey starts for both of us. How often do you plan to work out, then skip it? Having your next session planned, a coach to guide you and a group to train with gives you reasons to follow through: in our booking records, athletes attended 95% of the classes they booked.

Across more than 340,000 class ratings, the average score is 4.95 out of 5. That's feedback from athletes who have already trained with Hero's Journey.

If that sounds like the way you want to train, join the early access list for Hero's Journey Dubai in Al Quoz and find out how to get started when the studio opens.

athletes & team

It might be the most tech-advanced fitness studio in the world.

LinHero's Journey Athlete

I've been doing strength training for 10 years and never had this experience. Hero's Journey is the first boutique-style strength class in the world. You book your spot, the system tells you exactly where to go and what to lift, and there's zero waiting between sets.

NabiHero's Journey Athlete

We trained our AI recommendation system on more than 10 billion data points over 5 years. No other fitness studio in the world has that amount of data.

AnuarCTO, Hero's Journey

We solved the problem of people quitting fitness in the second month through gamification and a program system like universities. It's like Duolingo, but for fitness training.

TimHead of Product, Hero's Journey

In four months my Hero's Score went from 51 to 78. I never tracked my fitness like this before. Hero's Journey tells you exactly what weight to lift, the coach corrects your form, and you can actually see yourself getting stronger week by week.

I've trained at Orangetheory, Equinox, and Barry's. Hero's Journey is the first studio where the technology actually does something for me. Every machine knows my level. Every session feels personalized. And I'm not paying for a separate trainer.
